I am still waiting to see if Zhong Lun law firm intends to settle this issue, and am thus not writing more blog entries to give them that chance. In the meantime, I appreciate the many emails people have sent asking about me and encouraging me to keep writing, but I intend to wait. China continues to be a great place to read and write about, and commenting on China and Chinese is actually a lot of fun, but it isn’t my life’s passion, and frankly I’d prefer to resolve this issue rather than continue this blog for the purpose of discussing about my law firm. So, again, thanks for the patience. Now, it is time to wait and see. If the moment passes and this isn’t resolved, I’ll start up again with even more passion than before, rest assured. Thanks.

I am sorry for not posting recently and I thank many readers for their emails asking about me in the interim– I have not yet been knocked off, thank you. To be very honest, I am negotiating with Zhong Lun Law Firm to get their debts to me resolved, and that was the original purpose of this blog. I think the reason why this is happening is not because of any legal or moral obligations that they feel are owed, but rather because this blog has achieved its goal of explaining the circumstances of my employment at this law firm and the subsequent problems I had getting paid by them.  In any case, I hope these negotiations conclude in a way that everyone can live with, and I’ll provide a further update soon.
